Chain link fencing, touche!

I’ve been working on my first chain link fence project.  It’s fun to go back and add a little bit more and a little bit more.  At first I was going to do a continual line across several sections but then decided to not crossover panels thinking that if they eventually take down the chain link fence, the yarn bombs could go up somewhere else as “temporary” fencing.

It was fun having people stop by and comment as I was putting up the pieces and ask if I had done some of the other yarn bombs around town.  The feedback was positive and it made me happy to know that other people were getting enjoyment…

Oops! I did it again!

Did my second yarn bomb today. This is a birthday yarn bomb in honor of my sister, Emily’s birthday last week.  I started kind of late, but before the library opened.  Had several curious people stop and talk to me while I was stitching…including my boss.  I was hoping I could have it as a surprise for the people come Monday morning, but now a good portion are aware of it…I’m not very good at being discrete because I want to share the joy. Happy Yarn Bomb Emily!  (Check out more pictures on the Yarn Bombing page)
